Sunscreen and lip balm, a full water bottle (recommend 32 oz / 1 liter per person), and high-energy snacks or a light lunch. A change of dry socks and shoes or spare clothes is recommended because footwear will likely get wet.
Hat with brim (with strap recommended), sunglasses, quick-dry pants or shorts and a short- or long-sleeved technical shirt. Bring a warmth layer such as a fleece or synthetic puffy and a windbreaker/rain jacket; long underwear is recommended in colder months. Wear shoes you don’t mind getting wet—water sandals, booties, or old sneakers with wool socks are suggested; avoid non-secure flip-flops.
All necessary gear—life jackets, paddles and spray skirts—is provided and tours are conducted in tandem closed-deck sea kayaks that track well and are stable.
