The suite includes complimentary Wi‑Fi, a queen bed plus a pullout twin with memory foam, a walk-in shower, a 40" smart TV, mini-fridge and microwave, Keurig coffee with assorted coffees and teas, toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion, soap), a hairdryer, and up to three TCWR logo robes and hot tub towels.
On arrival the mini-fridge is stocked with one complimentary bottled water per person per day, juice, muffins, fruit cups and oatmeal as a welcome amenity; disposable plates, cups and utensils are available, and wine glasses and a wine opener may be used.
Safari Lodge guests may use the spacious shared deck with seating areas, hot tub and a gas-lit fire pit; the suite also has a private back deck with table and chairs.
The unit has split-system air-conditioning and heating plus an in-suite gas heater for winter use, a DVD player and a HDTV antenna for local reception.

What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is at 3:00 PM and check-out is no later than 10:00 AM. If you arrive before check-in you may tour the Discovery Area at no extra charge while waiting for your room to become available.
How does the tour access work during my stay?
All registered guests pay a one-time discounted entry fee that grants unlimited tours and Discovery Area access during the stay; the refuge posts daily tour times for visitors.
What is the cancellation policy?
Cancel at least 14 days prior to arrival for a full refund; cancellations 2–13 days prior incur a $50 fee with the remainder refunded; cancellations within 48 hours are charged one night and the rest refunded; cancelling at least 24 hours before arrival also allows an option for a full-value lodging gift certificate instead of a refund.
Are pets allowed in the Kilimanjaro suite?
No. The unit is not pet-friendly; non-service animals, including emotional support animals, are not allowed. Pet-friendly suites are available elsewhere on the property.
What happens if the refuge experiences severe weather?
The refuge may close during extreme weather conditions (for example lightning, tornadoes, fires, blizzards, freezing rain, icy road conditions); announcements are made the day of a closing—check the refuge’s social channels or call to confirm.
Is the lodge non-smoking? What are quiet hours?
All rooms are non-smoking, and a $250 penalty is charged for smoking in a room; designated quiet time for overnight guests is 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM.
What if the dates I want are sold out?
