Wilderness Landscape & Natural Heritage

Wanuskewin Heritage Park is located just north of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, preserving over 70 hectares of Northern Plains ecosystem and representing more than 6,000 years of Indigenous history. The park features extensive archaeological sites, including bison kill and processing areas, tipi rings, and burial locations, all carefully conserved to educate visitors about the Indigenous peoples' traditional ways of life and spiritual practices.
