Corner Inlet Marine National Park is located in the southeastern corner of Victoria, Australia, encompassing a significant expanse of sheltered coastal waters, seagrass beds, intertidal mudflats, and islands at the entrance to Corner Inlet. The park lies adjacent to the renowned Wilsons Promontory National Park and forms part of the Corner Inlet Ramsar Wetland of International Importance. This marine protected area supports extensive seagrass meadows, which serve as critical habitat for fish, crustaceans, and migratory shorebirds. The diverse coastal ecosystem supports species including the Australian fur seal, fairy penguins, and numerous waterbirds, making it a hotspot for wildlife enthusiasts and bird watchers. Its calm, shallow waters are popular for boating, kayaking, and recreational fishing, while the nearby intertidal zones provide excellent opportunities for exploring marine life at low tide.
