Berkshire East Mountain Resort is located in the Berkshire Hills of western Massachusetts. The resort is renowned for its ski and snowboard areas, featuring 45 trails and slopes catering to both beginners and seasoned athletes. Beyond winter sports, the resort operates an adventure park with ziplines, a mountain coaster, and an aerial adventure park. It is also home to Thunder Mountain Bike Park, which is highly rated for downhill biking. The resort began operations in the 1970s on the site of what was originally the Thunder Mountain Ski Area. Historically, the region was central to the Mohawk Trail, a trade route before becoming a tourist road. The natural setting boasts a rich variety of hardwood forests, providing a picturesque backdrop for hikers and wildlife watchers exploring the area's trails and forests.
