Black River Wild Forest encompasses over 47,000 acres within the Adirondack Park in northern New York State, featuring a varied landscape of hardwood and conifer forests, wetlands, rivers, lakes, and rugged terrain. The Black River and its tributaries run through the forest, providing important aquatic habitats and abundant fishing opportunities.
