The Chirinda Forest Reserve is a remarkable ecological treasure located at the southern tip of Zimbabwe near Mount Selinda. This forest reserve is one of the few tropical rainforests in Africa outside the Congolese basin, offering biodiversity that includes an array of unique plant and animal species. The area is especially known for its ancient and towering trees, such as the Big Tree, the largest Red Mahogany in southern Africa, standing at a majestic height of over 65 meters.
