La Campana National Park is located in central Chile, near the towns of Olmué and Valparaíso. The park is characterized by its mountainous terrain dominated by Cerro La Campana, which rises to 1,880 meters (6,168 feet) and offers panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean and the Andes foothills. The area protects one of the last remaining examples of Chile's Mediterranean-type ecosystems, featuring forests of the endangered Chilean palm (Jubaea chilensis), and varied flora including espinos and quillayes.
