Brices Cross Roads National Battlefield is situated in northeast Mississippi and marks the site of the Battle of Brice's Cross Roads, which took place on June 10, 1864. This battle was a decisive victory for Confederate Major General Nathan Bedford Forrest over a larger Union force.
