Cascade Head Scenic Research Area is a designated United Nations Biosphere Reserve located on the Oregon Coast and spans approximately 9,670 acres. It is a place of remarkable ecological diversity, home to rare plant species such as the endangered Oregon silverspot butterfly and the unique Cascade Head catchfly. The area includes highland meadows, expansive coastal views, and dense temperate rainforests.
