Located on Cát Bà Island in northern Vietnam, Cát Bà National Park covers approximately half of the island and is famed for its rugged limestone mountains, tropical forests, wetlands, and mangroves. Established in 1986, the park is a crucial component of the UNESCO-recognized Cát Bà Archipelago Biosphere Reserve. The park is home to the critically endangered Cát Bà langur, a unique species of monkey, as well as a variety of plant and animal life, some found nowhere else on earth.
