Dawson Forest Wildlife Management Area covers an expansive landscape in northern Georgia, composed of thick woodlands, gently sloping hills, and sparkling streams. Once owned by the Atomic Energy Commission, Dawson Forest now serves as a recreational area following its sale to the Georgia Forestry Commission. The area is managed by the Georgia Department of Natural Resources, ensuring that its ecological diversity is well-preserved.
