DeKoevend Open Space is a protected natural area located near Boulder, Colorado, managed by Boulder County Parks and Open Space. Covering a mix of grassland, riparian corridors, and woodland habitats, the preserve provides important ecological functions such as wildlife habitat connectivity and water quality protection for East Fourmile Creek. The terrain is characterized by gentle hills, open meadows, and mature cottonwoods along the creek, supporting a variety of bird species, deer, rabbits, and other small mammals.
