Goldstream Provincial Park is located on southern Vancouver Island, just 16 km from downtown Victoria, British Columbia. The park encompasses a total area of over 3.5 square kilometers, featuring towering old-growth trees such as Douglas fir and Western red cedar, along with a lush understory of ferns and mosses. The park is bisected by the meandering Goldstream River, which becomes a focal point during the annual salmon run, attracting a wealth of wildlife, including bald eagles that gather to feed. One of the park's most iconic features is Niagara Falls, a 47.5-meter waterfall that provides a dramatic natural spectacle. The park is a valuable spot for historical and cultural exploration as the area is imbued with remnants of First Nations art and history.
