Spanning over 33,000 acres, Horicon Marsh State Wildlife Area is renowned for its rich ecological diversity and importance as a critical habitat for numerous species of birds and wildlife. Located in southeastern Wisconsin, the marsh is part of the larger Horicon Marsh, and it is divided between state and federal protection.
