Hubbard Park is located in Meriden, Connecticut and spans over 1,800 acres. At its heart lies the scenic Merimere Reservoir, surrounded by lush woodlands and well-maintained paths. The park is known for its diverse terrain, which includes rugged hills, serene water bodies, and lush forests with a rich array of flora and fauna. A significant highlight of the park is Castle Craig, a stone observation tower perched at an elevation of over 1,000 feet, offering panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Designed by landscape architect Frederick Law Olmsted, the park has a rich history dating back to its establishment in 1900. It serves as an excellent destination for hiking, picnicking, and enjoying nature. The park also plays host to the popular Daffodil Festival each spring, drawing numerous visitors with vibrant blooms and festivities.
