Robbie Mills Nature Area is a 236-acre protected site located along the Rogue River in Josephine County, Oregon. The area features a diverse mix of riparian woodlands, oak groves, and mixed evergreen forest, providing critical habitat for numerous native plants and wildlife. The terrain includes river frontage, gentle slopes, and open glades ideal for various outdoor activities. The site was formerly private property and was acquired by the Rogue River-Siskiyou National Forest as part of a preservation effort to protect water quality, wildlife corridors, and scenic values along this stretch of the Rogue River. Visitors can enjoy a network of trails that wind through the forested area, offering varied hiking experiences from easy walks to moderate routes.
