Yasuní National Park is an environmental jewel covering over one million hectares in the Amazon Basin of Ecuador. It is one of the most biologically diverse regions on the planet, home to an astonishing variety of plant and animal species. Established in 1979, the park is recognized as part of the UNESCO Yasuní Biosphere Reserve.
