Cloughjordan Esker Natural Heritage Area is a prominent glacially formed ridge located near the town of Cloughjordan in County Tipperary, Ireland. This esker, formed by retreating glaciers approximately 10,000 years ago, is an outstanding geological feature consisting mainly of sand and gravel deposits. Stretching over several kilometers, the ridge rises distinctly from the surrounding landscape, providing a unique habitat mosaic including dry heath, mixed woodlands, and grasslands.
