Rivoli Lakes Nature Preserve

Rivoli Lakes Nature Preserve is located in the Chiricahua Mountains of Cochise County, Arizona, covering high-altitude terrain characterized by mixed conifer forests, alpine meadows, and volcanic rock formations. The preserve centers around several glacial lakes, including Upper and Lower Rivoli Lakes, which provide excellent habitat for native trout species and attract anglers and wildlife watchers alike. The region's elevation closer to 9,400 feet offers cooler temperatures and distinct flora and fauna compared to the desert valleys below.
