Located in the Xilin Gol League of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, China, the Xilin Gol Grassland Nature Reserve protects one of the largest and most well-preserved temperate grassland ecosystems in the world. Spanning rolling steppes, river valleys, wetlands, and sandy dunes, this reserve is a critical natural habitat supporting diverse flora and fauna, including rare and endemic species. The grassland ecosystem plays a vital role in carbon sequestration and climate regulation.
