Camp Robinson State Wildlife Management Area (WMA) is located in Pulaski County, Arkansas, just northwest of Little Rock. The WMA covers over 13,000 acres and was established to provide habitat management and public outdoor recreational opportunities. The landscape comprises mixed hardwood and pine forests, bottoms and wetlands, and several retention lakes and ponds. This highly accessible area supports a wealth of wildlife species, making it a prime location for hunters pursuing deer, turkey, waterfowl, and small game throughout various seasons. Anglers enjoy fishing in retention lakes stocked with bass, bream, and catfish. The property’s trail system offers hiking and mountain biking, while designated shooting ranges and archery facilities support target practice and training. Rich in military history, the site was formerly part of the World War II-era Camp Robinson military base.
