Kent Island Wildlife Management Area

Kent Island Wildlife Management Area (WMA) is located on the western shore of the Chesapeake Bay in Queen Anne's County, Maryland. This protected area covers wetlands, marshes, and tidal shorelines, providing critical habitat for a variety of waterfowl, shorebirds, and other wildlife. Established to conserve and manage Maryland's waterfowl populations, Kent Island WMA plays an important role in regional ecological health by supporting migratory species along the Atlantic Flyway.
