Al Areen Wildlife Park, established in 1976, is the only protected area in Bahrain and serves as a crucial haven for wildlife conservation. Spanning over 7 square kilometers, it houses a diverse array of species, including Arabian Oryx, wild sheep, and gazelles, functioning as a significant center for the propagation of endangered species. The park is separated into two main sections: the public area and the protected wildlife area, which is restricted to breeding programs. Visitors can explore the public section, which includes a zoological garden and a wide variety of birds and animals from the Arabian Peninsula.
