Aragatsotn Wildlife Sanctuary

Aragatsotn Wildlife Sanctuary spans the rugged regions surrounding Mount Aragats, the highest peak in Armenia, located in the Aragatsotn Province. The sanctuary was established to conserve diverse flora and fauna characteristic of the Armenian highlands, including alpine meadows, subalpine forests, and volcanic landscapes.
