The Sangha Trinational is an exceptional conservation area stretching across the borders of the Central African Republic, Cameroon, and the Republic of the Congo. This UNESCO World Heritage Site encompasses around 2,800,000 hectares of pristine rainforest. It is significant for its unspoiled ecosystem which is home to diverse species, including forest elephants, western lowland gorillas, and chimpanzees. The area is pivotal for its biological diversity and the extensive populations of key wildlife species, considered some of the most significant populations in Africa.
