What are the rates and deposit?
Weekdays 9am–5pm are $100/hour or $750/day; weekday events after 5pm add $150/hour. Weekends and weekdays after 5pm are $150/hour. A nonrefundable $100 security deposit is due with the signed contract and will be applied to the rental payment.
Are chairs, tables and Wi‑Fi provided?
The venue includes approximately 60 chairs and 6 tables, the kitchen and the Board Room; 4G LTE cellular Wi‑Fi is available upon request and must be noted in the contract.
Are there restrictions on decorations and activities?
Yes. Decorations must be approved by staff; use of glue, nails, screws or staples on historic buildings/landscapes is prohibited. Site prohibitions include pets, open flames, fireworks, smoking, combustible materials, glitter, tinsel, confetti, rice, silly string, illegal substances and weapons.
Is insurance required?
Renters must provide a certificate of insurance with minimum $1,000,000 general liability and list Historic Sugartown, Inc. as additional insured; the same requirement applies if using a caterer.
Who enforces site rules during an event?
A Historic Sugartown staff member will be on site throughout the rental to ensure stewardship of the property and public safety; the Executive Director makes final decisions on rental contracts and suitability.
