There are ten skating helpers available for rental during each public session; once all ten are rented they will no longer be available for that session, even if one is returned.

The process is procedural and purposeful: check in upstairs, receive a numbered lanyard that corresponds to your walker, step onto the ice and steady yourself with the helper while you practice standing and gliding, then return the helper and lanyard to skate rental when your session ends.

What to Bring

When you check in you’ll receive a numbered lanyard; you must wear the lanyard and keep hold of the helper until you finish skating, then return both to skate rental immediately.

Availability & Timing

There are ten helpers available per public session and they are rented for the duration of that session; once all ten are rented they will not be reissued for that session even if one is returned.

Returns & Enforcement

If staff ask you to return a walker because of rule violations you must do so; returns prompted by violations are not refundable.
