What is the vessel's capacity and how large are public sail groups?
Although the Bloodhound’s capacity is 34 people, public sails are intentionally limited to small groups—operators limit groups joining public day sails (and may limit sunset sails to 8 or fewer) to keep the experience personal.
Can I bring my dog?
Yes—friendly dogs are welcome on all sails; please call the operator at 508-542-2996 to let them know you will have a pet aboard.
Where do I park?
There is a pay-by-hour city parking lot at the end of MacMillian Pier; allow plenty of time to find a space.
How should I dress?
The motto is 'sail as you are'—dress comfortably, remove heels at the gangplank, and bring a sweater or light jacket as temperatures can dip even in the 70s; blankets are available onboard if needed.
What about tipping the crew?
Tipping is customary and similar to restaurant practice; the crew accepts cash, Venmo, or you can add a tip to the credit card used to buy tickets.
