How long does the PADI Open Water Diver course take?

The in-person portion of the course runs over two days, following completion of the required online theory.

Where do we meet for the course?

Participants meet at the Bay Pavilions, Batemans Bay for briefings, kit-up and departure.

What is the minimum age to participate?

The course accepts participants who are at least 10 years old, subject to other fitness and swim requirements.

Do I need to be a strong swimmer?

Yes: you must be able to complete a 200 metre swim and tread water for 10 minutes, and be generally able to swim.

What should I bring to the course?
