On the first day of the Three Days of Shore Diving program you’ll explore Myrthianos Plakias’ rocky drop‑offs and gorges beneath water that can offer up to 30 m of visibility. The outing combines two guided shore dives in small groups with on‑site briefings, gear fitting and a relaxed lunch on the beach, all run by Dive2gether Crete.

The dive sites around Myrthianos Plakias offer exceptional sightlines — visibility reaches as far as 30 meters, letting you read the contours of gorges and rocky formations well ahead of the dive.

The itinerary is organized around small guided groups: two 45–60 minute shore dives, with surface time and a beach taverna lunch between them.

What the day feels like
The day unfolds with an arrival at the Dive2gether Crete base, gear fitting and a welcome drink, followed by a drive to the shore entry (or a guided drive if you don’t have a rental). After a safety briefing you make a 45–60 minute shore dive, spend a relaxed lunch at the beach taverna, then return to the water for a second full tank dive before returning to the centre to wash gear and view photographs taken during the day.

The day runs approximately 8 hours total, covering two shore dives and surface time for lunch and gear changes.
Bring your diving certification and logbook, swimsuit and towel, sunscreen and hat, wallet for lunch and optional photo purchases, and contact lenses if you need them.
Meet at the Dive2gether Crete centre; gear fitting and refreshments are provided on arrival. You will either drive to the shore (free parking) or travel with the operator if you lack a rental car.
Photos taken during the dives are available to view at the centre and may be purchased afterwards.
