What is the maximum number of people allowed on a tour?
The tour size is kept at 9 people unless there is one group booking together. If your group exceeds 9, call to book as the operator has more than 50 Segways available.
Will I be trained on how to use the Segway?
Yes. Tours start with a training session that lasts between 10 to 30 minutes depending on group size and comfort level; once everyone is comfortable, the group departs.
Do I have to wear a helmet?
You will be provided a bicycle helmet free of charge. You may bring your own helmet if you wish.
Can I take pictures during the tour?
Yes. You can take pictures during the tour and the guide will also take photos for you; a link to the photos is provided after the tour free of charge.
What happens if it rains?
The operator will provide rain ponchos; you may also cancel or reschedule with a full refund in case of rain.
What are the age restrictions to do a tour?
Riders should be at least close to 11 years of age; an adult or guardian must accompany participants under 18.
Are there weight restrictions to ride a Segway?
There are no strict weight restrictions, but participants are advised to be comfortable on their feet and it is best that riders be at least close to 70 lbs. or more.
Do I need to sign a waiver before the tour?
Yes. All Segway riders must sign a liability waiver before participating; if under 18, a parent or guardian must also sign. An electronic waiver is sent after booking.
