Bring a swimsuit and a towel; other wet‑weather or thermal layering is helpful depending on conditions.
The operator supplies safety helmets, lifejackets, wetsuits, wetsuit booties and, depending on weather, polar fleece tops and spray jackets.

Yes — transfers from central Rotorua commercial accommodation are available for an extra $15 per person; transfer time from Rotorua is about one hour (from Taupo about 1 hour 15 minutes).
