Yes. All newcomers to Shaka Fitness SUP are required to register for the First Shaka class and take the mandatory 15-minute SUP & safety lesson; no exceptions.

Can children and teens participate?

No. Participants must be 18 years old and able to provide a valid ID at the time of class.

I cannot swim; may I participate?

Every participant must be able to swim, listen, and respond to instruction. If you are unable to participate without fear, a personal flotation device may be provided at the instructor's discretion.

May I bring my own paddle board?

No. Personal paddle boards are not allowed; Shaka Fitness supplies boards that are specifically chosen and outfitted for secure anchoring and class safety.

Do single sessions or SUP yoga packages expire?

Single session purchases are valid for one year from purchase; Buy 2 Get 1 Free packages are valid only for the season of purchase. Sessions will not carry over to the following season and no refunds are issued for unused sessions or weather cancellations; complimentary credit for weather interruptions is valid for the current season.

Where can I find photos taken during class?

Photos are posted to Shaka Fitness's social media accounts within a week; due to scheduling and guest volume, they cannot guarantee direct messaging of images or exact posting times.
