Do I need to know how to swim?
No—non-swimmers can participate; the operator provides a full chest PFD for those who do not know how to swim, or a waist-wrap US Coast Guard–approved PFD, and will use a SUP leash attached to the board.
Are photos and video included?
Yes—your instructor will take action photos and video while you paddle and will deliver them after the lesson (via Airdrop or a link for Android).
Can I use my own board or do I need to rent one?
You can bring your own board, but the operator recommends learning on their hard boards first; paddle board rentals are provided through their partner.
Is the launch area safe?
The launch is a sandy beach in a no-wake channel with minimal boat traffic, but you should be careful of surrounding rocks and sharp oyster shells at the shoreline.
