How long are rentals?
Rentals are available for durations between 2 and 8 hours.
Do I need ID to rent?
Yes. You must be 18 or older to book and a government photo ID is required for each renter 18+; copies are not permitted.
Can I swim or land at other beaches?
No. For your safety, swimming and landing at any other beach is not allowed, including French Landing.
What happens if I'm late returning the vessel?
There is a flat late fee of $50 plus $1 per minute for vessels returned late; reservations more than 30 minutes late may be cancelled and boats reassigned.
Are rentals walk-up or reservation-based?
From May 23 through September 1 rentals are walk-up only; at other times follow the operator’s reservation rules and arrive early.
Can I bring alcohol or pets?
No. Alcohol may not be brought into the state park or onto vessels, and no pets are allowed.
