Details to review before reserving
The public event runs about 3 hours; launches are scheduled monthly on Sundays with an 11:00 am launch and a winery experience beginning at 1:00 pm (the barn closes at 4:00 pm).
Meet at Richmond's Marina 20 minutes before your class time; the paddle launches and returns at the marina and the winery is roughly a 3-minute drive from the launch spot. Pre-registration is required and online registration closes 24 hours before the event.
Bring a photo ID, your own water, towel, sunscreen, hat or sunglasses, change of clothes, and water shoes if desired. If you bring your own SUP you are required by law to bring a USCG-approved life jacket, SUP leash, and safety whistle.
Adult ticket with board rental is $55; if you bring your own board the ticket is $45. The booking includes the guided paddle, entry to Broken Spoke Winery's outdoor barn or tasting room event, and one wine slushie or glass of wine.
