THE SETTING

Smaller groups for focused instruction

Hobe Sound Surf Camp intentionally keeps groups smaller than many other camps to create a fun, safe learning environment with more personalized coaching and supervision.

THE PROGRAM

Multisport beach curriculum

The camp packs surfing, boogie boarding, skim boarding, body surfing and fishing into its daily schedule so kids develop a range of shoreline and in-water skills.

THE FOUNDATION

Ocean safety and play

Alongside on-water instruction, the week includes ocean-safety education, beach games and surf-skate training to round out participants’ skills and situational awareness.

What the day feels like

What a week feels like

Across five weekdays, campers meet on the sand at Hobe Sound and move between shore drills, surf-skate practice and supervised time in the water. The program balances structured lessons with free-play moments—beach games, a midday lunch and hands-on ocean-safety instruction—to build skill and confidence over consecutive days.

Suitability
