THE FEEL

Closer to the water, quicker progress

Kneeboarding's low centre of gravity and padded deck make it easier to get up and stay connected to the lake than more upright board sports, offering a gentler learning curve for first-timers and children.

THE KIT

Coaching and purpose-built equipment included

Sessions come with professional coaching and kit tailored to kneeboarding: JOBE multiboards, buoyancy aids and a dedicated wake-and-surf boat are provided so you can focus on getting on the water.

THE ACCESS

Designed for beginners and young riders

The offering explicitly accommodates beginners and children aged seven and up, with rules that ensure children are always accompanied by a responsible adult while participating.

What the day feels like

What it actually feels like

Kneeboarding at Ullswater Wake & Surf puts you low on the lake surface, towed behind a wake-and-surf boat with hands on a handle and knees cradled on a padded deck. Coaching focuses on getting riders comfortable with the feeling of the water, helping beginners find balance and enjoy the immediate thrill of planing and carving.
