Ocean Session
Head to the beach on the southern side of the jetty for roughly an hour of in‑water coaching at a 4:1 guest-to-instructor ratio, catching waves under guided supervision.
Photo Review & Wrap
After the session, review the lesson photos back at the surf shop and discuss next steps or recommendations.

Lessons are offered daily at 9:00 AM, 10:15 AM, 11:30 AM, 12:45 PM, 2:00 PM and 3:15 PM; many guests prefer the earliest slot for calmer morning conditions.
What happens during a lesson?
All lessons start with a 15–20 minute land lesson covering safety and technique, followed by roughly an hour in the water riding waves; lessons conclude with a review of your photos at the surf shop.
What is the payment and cancellation policy?
Full payment is required at booking; you may cancel up to 48 hours prior for a full refund. Changes within 48 hours are not guaranteed but the operator will attempt to accommodate.
What if the beach is closed for water quality?
The operator follows San Diego County water quality protocols; if the County marks the beach 'closed' lessons will be rescheduled or refunded as necessary.
