On the windswept sand of Half Moon Bay, a private group lesson condenses the essentials of surfing into 90 focused minutes: a short beach primer, then sustained in-water coaching as an instructor guides each participant through the motions of paddling, wave selection, and attempting their first stands. These sessions are designed for beginners and emphasize individualized attention within a supportive group environment.
