What the day feels like
What the Two Hours Feel Like
The lesson moves from a beach-based safety briefing and ocean awareness into practical, incremental board work: introductions to surfboard use and ocean entry, paddling practice and the pop-up drill. Instructors place students in waist-depth water to practice catches and standing; by the end of two hours most participants have ridden their first waves in a controlled, encouraging setting.
