You meet at a roadside fruit stand off Kuhio Highway and, after a short caravan, gather beneath ironwood shade on an undeveloped coastal parcel. Over the next 3.5 hours the group cycles through practical exercises—fire making, foraging and tracking among them—guided by instructors who adjust topics to weather and the group’s interests, and finish with a closing circle at noon.
