The program runs once a week for eight weeks, with each session lasting three hours.
Supplies are not included. The studio offers a $60 starter bundle (foil, solder, flux, patina, brush, burnisher). Glass is sold separately; students will also need a board and siding, available for purchase or supplied independently.
The course is offered in Needham, Massachusetts and operated by The Glass Bar.
Students choose a pattern from the studio’s Pinterest board; patterns must be chosen at least 48 hours before the first class so they can be printed to the required size.

How long and how often are classes?
Sessions are three hours, once a week, for eight weeks.
Do I need to choose a pattern before the first class?
Yes—students must select a pattern from the studio’s Pinterest board at least 48 hours before the first class so it can be professionally printed for Day 1.
Is there an age or prerequisite requirement?
Yes—students must be at least 16 years old and must have completed a prior 3-week stained glass session before enrolling in the intensive.
What happens if foiling isn’t finished by Week 5?
If foiling isn’t completed by the end of Week 5, students may take the project home to finish or attend additional studio time before Week 6.
Will I learn framing and finishing techniques?
Yes—Week 8 covers framing a square piece using zinc came (zinc sold separately at stated per-piece pricing), attaching hooks, cleaning, polishing and final finishing techniques.
