Set on a private ranch just south of central Austin, this focused, instructor-led hour pairs traditional archery with tomahawk and knife throwing on a variety of targets — from foam animals to wooden and traditional bullseyes — all with safety gear and one-on-one coaching.

Bows, arrows, tomahawks, safety gear and private ranch access are included — participants should arrive prepared with closed-toed shoes and sunscreen and may bring non-alcoholic drinks or a picnic lunch.

What the hour feels like
Over the course of a single, concentrated hour an instructor moves your group from basics to confident execution: a short check-in and briefing, fitting each shooter to an appropriately sized bow, then rotations through archery and throwing lanes using foam-animal, wooden and traditional targets. Safety gear is supplied and the ranch setting keeps the session private and focused.

How long is the lesson?
The session lasts one hour.
What ages can participate?
Participants must be at least 7 years old; minors must be accompanied by an adult 18 or older.
Do I need to bring my own equipment?
No—bows, arrows, tomahawks, targets and safety gear are provided.
What should I wear or bring?
Wear closed‑toed shoes and sunscreen. You may bring non‑alcoholic drinks and a picnic lunch; picnic tables are available.
What is the cancellation or rescheduling policy?
Cancellations for non‑locals must be made more than 72 hours in advance for a partial refund; after that you are locked into the reservation. Rescheduling must also be done 72 hours in advance. If you are sick call the operator and they will reschedule for a date more than two weeks out.
What happens if it rains?
Activities run rain or shine; if it rains the ranch provides cowboy rain slickers and will work under cover. If weather is deemed dangerous the operator will reschedule.
Can I bring my pet or smoke on the ranch?
No—visitor pets are not allowed and there is a strict no‑smoking policy on the property.
