Tours operate seven days a week but observe blackout dates including Memorial Day (5/25), Juneteenth (6/19), July 3–4, Labor Day (9/7), Columbus Day (10/12), Veterans Day (11/11), Thanksgiving (11/26) and Christmas (12/25).
Participants will be weighed fully clothed at check-in; wear comfortable clothing appropriate for a day on an island and for harnessing. (Operators perform weigh-ins as part of check-in.)
Shuttle pickup, boat crossings, and zip schedules are coordinated—if you need to return on a later boat, changes must be requested with the shuttle company at least 48 hours in advance.

How long is the zipline portion of the trip?
The zipline journey itself is part of an experience that lasts approximately two hours; the five lines together cover close to three-quarters of a mile.
What are the age and height requirements?
Participants must be at least 10 years old and at least 55 inches tall to ride without a guardian; children 7–9 may ride only if accompanied by an 18+ participant acting as guardian for the entire activity; children under 7 cannot participate.
Are there weight limits or tandem options?
Yes. Riders must weigh between 80 and 240 pounds; all riders are weighed fully clothed at check-in. Tandem riding is not allowed.
When do pickups and boat departures occur?
Hotel shuttle pickup is scheduled between 8:00–8:15 a.m.; the Catalina Express departs Long Beach at 9:50 a.m. and arrives Avalon around 11:00 a.m.; the scheduled return from Avalon is 3:55 p.m.
Can I change to a later boat if I want to stay longer on Catalina?
A later boat may be available depending on season and time of year, but changes must be requested with the shuttle company a minimum of 48 hours in advance.
