Olumo Rock was such a cool experience in Abeokuta! I actually climbed to the top, and our tour guide shared some really interesting stories about how the rock served as a refuge during wars. The climb was tiring 😭, but the view from the top made it totally worth it. Definitely worth visiting if you’re in Abeokuta.

The tour guides gave a brilliant 👏 history about Olumo rock, they also explained how the villagers hid under the rock during the war, hence the name Abeokuta. Comparing it with my visit as a younger child, it's worth visiting as it tells alot about the Yoruba History in that city
