Unforgettable experience. Core memory. We parked our van at the south fork sun trail head and made an 80 mile loop through the Bob over a course of 9 days. China wall was our day 4 or day 5 stop. We set up camp past the wall and woke up early to watch the sunrise light up the wall. It is a more challenging hike, don’t go out without having completed your due diligence. Hammock is recommended, however, some in our group used tents and they were fine. We were out there in mid September and heard elk bugling. We found fresh bear tracks, got pretty close to a bunch of deer, and saw many other critters along the way.
