Luxury by the Chao Phraya: Mandarin Oriental, Bangkok

An iconic hotel that lives up to its reputation - wonderfil location next to the river, convenient for sightseeing and river boats. Wonderfull room and facilities and fantastic service. I have always wanted to stay at this hotel and I am so glad I have now realised that fantasy.

Beautiful and historical atmosphere, the best class service by receptionists and butlers. Very satisfying breakfast.

Hotel was amazing in many ways, needs improvement in few. Location and proximity to many places is great Rooms were lively and beautiful, verendah staff was great. Entire hotel felt bright and lively, not overcrowded just classy. Why I’m giving 4 star is there are certain areas I think improvement would help, inroom dining food tasted much worse than the veranda, massage services were underwhelming. For example hot compress were cold, eye and neck masks were cold. Communication was a consistent problem, we ask for something and we get something else, which is expected in a foreign country, but hotel doesn’t correct it, they expect you to be responsible for any mistakes made. For example we ordered 1 fruit platter with 2 kinds of fruit but we got 2 fruit platters and had to pay for 2. These are small adjustments that hotel could hv given the benefit of doubt to customers, but they are very strict in such scenarios. Overall hotel stay was very positive and beautiful. In many areas hotel meets your expectations, but doesn’t go beyond your expectations. Some small surprises would make customers more excited. For example, in oberai we got a custom toy for our daughter which made her day, similarly in ritz and for seasons. In four seasons we got room upgrades when available. In some places we got a packed sandwiches for travel. Such small things matter when we stay at a premium location. But still there are many good things in this place. Pool staff was great, concierge was great, butler service was great. Many sweet people work here. Boat crew was excellent.

เรียน ทีมงานโรงแรมแมนดาริน โอเรียนเต็ล กรุงเทพฯ ดิฉันขออนุญาตแบ่งปันประสบการณ์และความรู้สึกจากการเข้าพักในครั้งนี้ค่ะ ในวันแรก มีบางส่วนที่ยังไม่ราบรื่นเท่าที่คาดหวังเล็กน้อย ทั้งข้อมูลเกี่ยวกับทัวร์ล่องเรือที่พนักงานบริเวณท่าเรือยังไม่สามารถให้รายละเอียดได้ รสชาติกาแฟบริเวณล็อบบี้ที่ยังไม่ตรงกับความชอบส่วนตัว รวมถึงขั้นตอน Check-in ที่ใช้เวลานานกว่าที่คาด เนื่องจากห้องพักยังไม่พร้อมและต้องใช้เวลาในการตรวจสอบข้อมูลการจองห้องอาหารที่ดิฉันจองไว้ล่วงหน้า 4 แห่ง ห้องพักพร้อมเข้าพักประมาณ 15.30 น. ทำให้แผนในช่วงบ่ายของวันแรกต้องมีการปรับเปลี่ยนไปบ้าง จึงทำให้ดิฉันรู้สึกเสียดายเล็กน้อยในช่วงแรกค่ะ อย่างไรก็ตาม สิ่งที่ทำให้ดิฉันประทับใจอย่างมากคือ ความใส่ใจและการดูแลของทีมงานหลังจากที่ได้รับ Feedback ดิฉันสัมผัสได้ถึงความตั้งใจของทุกท่านในการดูแลแขก และตลอดการเข้าพักก็ได้รับการบริการที่อบอุ่นและน่าประทับใจอย่างต่อเนื่อง โดยเฉพาะที่ห้องอาหารเช้า, Lord Jim’s, The Authors’ Lounge, Anne-Sophie Pic และ The China House รวมถึงพนักงานที่ยิม ท่าเรือ และบริเวณสระว่ายน้ำ ทุกท่านให้บริการด้วยรอยยิ้ม ความสุภาพ และความใส่ใจในรายละเอียด แม้เพียงการทักทายระหว่างเดินผ่านกัน ก็ทำให้รู้สึกถึงความอบอุ่นและความน่ารักของพนักงานค่ะ ประสบการณ์เหล่านี้ทำให้ดิฉันเข้าใจถึงมาตรฐานการบริการอันเป็นเอกลักษณ์ของ โรงแรมแมนดาริน โอเรียนเต็ล กรุงเทพฯ และรู้สึกดีใจที่ได้เลือกมาพักที่นี่ในวันเกิดปีนี้ สุดท้ายนี้ ขอขอบคุณทุกท่านจากใจจริงสำหรับการดูแลอย่างอบอุ่น รวมถึงการ์ดที่ทุกท่านตั้งใจเขียนเพื่อแสดงความขอโทษ และเซอร์ไพรส์วันเกิดที่มอบให้ ดิฉันรู้สึกซาบซึ้งและประทับใจในความใส่ใจของทุกท่านมากค่ะ โดยรวมแล้ว ดิฉันมีความสุขและประทับใจกับการเข้าพักครั้งนี้มาก และความใส่ใจของทีมงานได้เปลี่ยนประสบการณ์ในวันแรกให้กลายเป็นความทรงจำที่ดีและน่าประทับใจ หากมีโอกาส ดิฉันยินดีที่จะกลับมาใช้บริการที่นี่อีกครั้งอย่างแน่นอนค่ะ ด้วยความขอบคุณและความประทับใจอย่างยิ่ง

The room was comfortable, and the breakfast offered a great variety of choices. All the staff were friendly, attentive, and always greeted us warmly. Accessing iQIYI through the TV was a little inconvenient, but it wasn’t a big issue. Our butler, khun Som, was very helpful and managed to sort it out for us.
