Ijen Crater is truly the best. Ijen Crater, Banyuwangi, East Java ✨️ Ijen Crater, located on Mount Ijen, stands at 2,386 meters above sea level. The climb from the foot of the mountain to the crater takes approximately 2-3 hours. Thank God, we reached the summit and made it back down. The exhaustion was rewarded when we reached the top and saw the beauty of one of Allah SWT's creations. MasyaAllah. The most beautiful sulfur crater, and there are only two in the world, one of which is Ijen Crater, in Banyuwangi. There's no mistaking it for some me-time and nature contemplation here 😍🩵 The cold... didn't deter my determination to climb... The charm of Ijen Crater... It boosted my enthusiasm... The road through Banyuwangi yesterday was quite damaged and gravel was scattered around, quite extreme. To everyone, stay safe, the peak won't go anywhere 💪🔥🔥🔥

Finally made it to the Ijen crater, after a 10-hour journey from Surabaya, the gates opened at 2:00 AM, registration began, and the trek began. The air was very cold, so it is recommended to wear a jacket, gloves, a head covering, and a flashlight because the journey was dark. There are 6 posts and they are relatively close together, posts 1-5 are uphill, but posts 5 to 6 are relatively flat. The journey is 3 km and takes 3 hours, but if you relax, it can take longer. Some people summit at 2 AM because they want to see the sunrise, but if you don't want to chase the sunrise, you can trek in the morning when the sun has risen and it's not too cold. If you don't want to tire yourself out walking, you can use a motorcycle taxi cart "lamborghini" for an uphill trip of 1 million rupiah and a downhill trip of 500 thousand rupiah, depending on the negotiation with the motorcycle taxi driver. If you want to climb halfway, you can also do it and it might be relatively cheaper because it's already halfway through the journey. For an exciting experience, you must try it because this is not available on other mountains. Safe and comfortable. Many foreign and domestic tourists flock to the Ijen Crater. The Ijen Crater is so beautiful, its blue hues, billowing sulfurous smoke, and the surrounding beauty. It's a feast for the eyes. There are plenty of photo spots and queues.

July 6, 2026 came here from Denpasar, many say the route is friendly for beginners, but for those who rarely exercise the route is quite difficult because there are many climbs, but all the tiredness on the road is paid off when you are at the top, the view of the turquoise crater is truly unbeatable, very beautiful, and luckily when here the weather was clear so it was not covered by fog. Before coming, make sure you have bought an Ijen entrance ticket and a health certificate
